About IIM Shillong’s IPM
IIM Shillong IPM Eligibility and Mathematics Requirements
IIM Shillong considers valid IPMAT (IIM Indore) scores to shortlist candidates for its personal interview; overseas candidates can apply with SAT scores instead.
Its eligibility rules are stricter than most: for 2026, candidates needed at least 70% in Class X and XII (65% for SC, ST and DA candidates), had to study Mathematics or Applied Mathematics in both Class XI and XII, and had to be born on or after 1 August 2006, with relaxation for reserved categories.
That makes subject choice in Class XI and steady board marks as important as IPMAT preparation. Patterns, eligibility and dates change every year, so always confirm details in the official admissions notice before you apply.
